Travel With Emmy: Make Her Last Days Joyful
Donation protected
This is Emmy, my 5 year old Douge de Bordeaux service dog, and she is in congestive heart failure
Last year I had to have shoulder surgery that kept me out of work for 7 months. Because of this I couldn’t afford her pet insurance premium which had just gone up so I had to cancel it. Now here we are, looking at $1000/month in vet care for however long she has left (could be anywhere from now to months) and the financial stress is making an already bad situation worse. I know some will find it weird, but she is my whole world and I don’t know what I will do without her. She is the goodest girl and the smartest dog I have ever known! She is a riot too- so SO funny!
Emmy is odd for a DDB in that she LOVES to travel and sniff new things. She is happiest in the car rolling off to some new destination with her Mama. After we have her stable, I would like to buy a small trailer and travel with her for whatever time she has left- she deserves it after all she has done for me. The first of this money will go for her immediate vet care needs, and I would like to take her on the road and document our journey on YouTube. Any funds remaining after she passes will be donated to Northwest Boxer Rescue in her name and to Old Growth Veterinary Emergency to help pay for pets who need care that their fur parents can’t afford. ❤️ I would also like to build a Rainbow Bridge in her honor in a Washington beach town for other pet parents to mourn their babies loss.
If you would like to see more Emmy, there is a ton on my Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/share/15aefCWoRt/?mibextid=wwXIfr and all videos will be uploaded to YouTube at https://youtube.com/@bigcrazydoglife?si=UlAooCnrIJnxxjnW
Thank you for your support! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
