Dear friends!

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude everybody who has contributed to this fundraiser. It was successful, and enabled me to go to Nepal where I have been now for some weeks, which were packed with virtuous adventures and blessings: a pilgrimage to the birthplace of the Buddha, where Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche consecrated the 1000 buddha temple, gave teachings and empowerments, a pilgrimage to the Asura cave, where Padmasambhava gained enlightenment, pujas at the Ka-Nying monastery, visits to other holy places such as Pashupati, learning to chant in sanskrit at RYI, it goes on and on. And I'm only getting started: soon the ngondro retreat will start, and shortly after the Ngakso drubchen, all and all I hope to stay here for 3 months. Yes I am very very grateful! Tomorrow, on the full moon day, and coincidently even my birthday, I will light butterlamps for you at the Big Stupa of Bouddha, making aspiration prayers and well wishes for everybody who is part of my adventure by contributing to this fundraiser, and from there extend those wishes to include all beings. on my Facebook page I have shared one such prayer, 'the king of aspirations', so you can join me in that.
