We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support.

Our Aunt (52) has recently been diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive form of bile duct cancer.

This devastating news has shaken our family, and we are doing everything we can to be there for her during this difficult time.

Our mother, her big sister, is determined to be with her baby sister, offering love, support, help with her medical journey and most of all spending precious time making memories. However, to do so, we need to take time off work and travel from our home in New Brunswick, Canada to Southern Illinois, USA.

This trip involves MANY costs, including a passport, travel expenses, accommodation, food, and the income we will lose so our mother can be with her sister, but also so that we can be with our aunt.

Our mother will not be able to stay with her sister for the duration of her treatments, and would like to return to Illinois when the next opportunity with her work allows.

We are also hoping to raise funds for medical costs not covered by our aunt's insurance.

We are raising funds to cover:

• Travel costs

• Accommodation and food expenses • Passport and documentation fees

• loss of income

• Medical expenses

• Potential unexpected expenses

Any amount you can contribute will go directly toward supporting our and our mother’s travel and the essential care our aunt needs. It will provide the opportunity for our mother to spend precious time with her sister.
