Support for Ukrainian Refugees in Ukraine
Donation protected
Dear friends and family, as you know, this past week, a terrible war struck out on my beloved homeland: Ukraine. It has been an emotional rollercoaster for our family to watch the devastation and not be able to do anything about it. As we watch the Ukrainian people lose everything, we cannot sit still.
Over the years, I have gained the necessary skills and knowledge to assist refugees in need. I am certified to work with individuals with PTSD and children's special needs. I am also a former ER nurse trained in crises and a professional medical interpreter with Western Carolina Medical Society.
So I (Liliya) and my son Eduard will be traveling to Warsaw, Poland, on Monday, March 7, 2022. While we are there, we will be working alongside Polish church: Warsaw North Christian Community
We will interpret, work with legal services, and provide medical assistance to Ukrainian refugees.
We will also be coordinating refugees to different places: churches, campgrounds, and anywhere available in Poland.
Eduard will be doing logistics and interpreting.
I am looking forward to praying with those who need hope. People's hearts (both Ukrainian and Polish) are now open to receiving salvation and accepting the truth of Jesus Christ.
Every dollar that you can donate will be valuable! Funds will be going towards gas, food, medical supplies, legal services, telephone cards, and much more.
Meanwhile, my daughter Nastya is working with refugees on the border of Romania and her husband Artem is still in Ukraine, coordinating refugee resettlements.
Thank you for being people that love us and love Jesus. We appreciate all your prayers and support!
