Are names are Robert & Daunn Burke we are here to ask for financial help in getting our daughter to Houston Texas to MD Anderson cancer center  for a life saving surgery to remove the very aggressive form of cancer called PARANEOPLASTIC PEMPHIGUS FOLLICULAR  DENDERIDIC CELL SARCOMA . (Its a very rare cancer and only 6 others have had this cancer.) The chemo has stop the cancer from growing any bigger, and it has actually shrunk a little so that the surgery will be easier. You see the tumor is the size of a baseball it sits on top of the left lung and has squished up into the vertebra in the thoracic part of the spine, the blob has also wrapped itself around the aorta and various nerves if damaged could cause permanent damage. The doctors here at MD Anderson in Gilbert AZ said they would not do surgery to "RISKY" but the HERO's at MD Anderson Houston TX will do it .Being released for surgery came up faster than the floor could and we have 2 weeks before we have to be in TX June 10th is her consult appt.   Her name is Julie Lynn Ryan  she is 42 yrs old  and has terminal cancer, this is her story. It started at the end of Oct when I had an extremely stress filled, tension filled scream at the top of my lungs till my head felt like it popped off meltdown. I finally calmed down after a little while and life went on till around Thanksgiving I started to get these little blisters turned into infections all over my scalp, then it progressed into my eyes like pink eye times 1000.  And then in the mouth throat and lips were like fever blisters and thrush times 1000 could not eat barely drink, missed Thanksgiving dinner, small water blisters started forming on my skin the face down the the neck ,in the ears slowly spread down to my feet had blisters in my privates  2000 times worse than yeast infection. After I was hospitalized my back and my upper arms, chest,butt and  thighs had huge water filled blisters very very painful after popped and once they popped there would be raw skin left. It took the skin on my back to completely heal 4 long and painful months. I've had the new skin on my back ripped off several times prolonging the healing process usually caused caused by the techs, nurses and yes doctors to raised or lowered  the bed to there liking till I start to cry out in pain please dont move the bed. I had signs posted and that didnt stop it either.  And dressing bandage changes took her mother 3 1/2 hrs to complete.  I lost 73 pounds I went from 165 to 92 pounds in 5 months this last month i went up to 105. Ive been doing chemo for the last 4 months I am lucky to have the medical teams that I have had. I have been  blessed that all the doctors from Banner Tucson and MD Anderson were able to diagnose my rare cancer so quickly. I will be adding pictures of the progression of the cancer beginning to end.
