Travel funds for Multiple Myeloma treatments

Hi, my name is Audrey. I'm raising funds for my friend James "Smash" Ash who quickly became a brother to me as he does in many people's lives. Several weeks ago James was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma; a progressive, terminal blood disease and bone cancer that has no cure. He has already begun aggressive treatment in true Smash fashion. His wife, Jessica, has done extensive research on the most effective treatment centers for this condition. They have found that the best chance James has in his fight against MM is going to require frequent trips to Arkansas from their home state of Pennsylvania. With that, the cost of travel in addition to medical costs are overwhelming and I'm hoping to take some stress and pressure off the "Smash fam" with this fundraiser.

James, his wife, Jessica and their son Tyler are the kind of people that come along side everyone else in their lives as love and support through thick and thin. They are no strangers to hardship and have overcome challenges individually and together that would break most people. They are a powerful, positive influence on those around them as a result. James has dedicated his life to being a husband, a father and protecting others through his career as a Marine, a firefighter and now a police officer.
