Travel expenses to Oregon to see my parents

The last year has hit my family hard. My dad was diagnosed with Stage 3 Renal failure and Stage 3 Congestive Heart Failure. He has been in and out of the hospital over the last 6 months with complications. In January, my mom was diagnosed with small cell carcinoma. PET scans show that the cancer has spread to her liver and the lymph nodes along her spine, making it Stage 4. She started chemo this week, in hopes of slowing the spread and giving her more time to say her goodbyes. Today, she had an adverse reaction to the chemo cocktail, and was taken to the ER. Imaging shows she has double pneumonia. My parents have been inseparable for nearly 44 years. There isn't a person in my family who doesn't believe that, when one of them passes, the other will soon follow. This may be my last chance to see my parents. Normally, I would not ask for help. But with a move coming up in May, and a round trip ticket costing nearly $1000, the assistance could mean the difference between saying goodbye in person and saying goodbye over the phone. My dad could really use my support right now, as he currently has mobility issues and is still weak from surgery in December. Any funds received will go to cover travel expenses to Oregon and back. Anything beyond what is necessary to cover travel expenses will go to my parents.
