Hi friends,

As many of you know, my mom passed away suddenly and unexpectedly last Tuesday. Within 24 hours, I was on a plane from CA to CT, and my son (pictured above) will be joining me soon so he can be here for the funeral.

As you can imagine, booking last-minute plane tickets for cross-country travel is expensive, even with bereavement fares. We'll be using the money raised to cover our transportation costs.

Thank you so much for the love and support you've shown during this devastating time; I am beyond appreciative.
