My name is Alisha and I am Julie’s oldest daughter. My mom is in the stage 4 of COPD and is working on getting a lung transplant at the UW Madison Hospital. Unfortunately the last month has been hard on my mom as she has had three trips to the hospital and was transported down to The UW hospital in Madison to hopefully expedite some evaluations needed for her lung transplant. We are unsure of how long she will be here as she is currently in the ICU and intubated, but are hopeful she will soon be breathing on her own.

We know her road to recovery is going to be long and the next steps in the transplant are going to be even longer.

Any donations will be used for travel expenses to The UW hospital, extended stays and for meals for my dad.
