Travel Expense Fund for The Newtons

Hello! We are fundraising for Lindsay and Travis Newton and their precious newborn son, Riley.

Riley has what they call Pierre Robin sequence.

The cleft palate will most likely be fixed at 1 year. However the chin/tongue is the more worrisome. Basically the tongue sits in the place the roof of his mouth should be, which can cut off his airways. They did blood work today to check is CO2 levels. If they come back not good, they will go ahead and schedule his jaw surgery within the next few weeks, maybe sooner. It’s an extensive surgery and he’ll be there for at least two weeks after surgery.

They are admitting Riley in the morning for observation and some feeding/breathing therapy. That will be at least a week. However she feels like they’ll go ahead and do the surgery; so she said to prepare for him being there for a minimum of a month.

We want to make sure that expenses are low on the list of things for Lindsay and Travis to worry about in the coming weeks so they can focus on Baby Riley!
