Travel Expense For Return Mayo Clinic Trips

This go fund me is for Steve Quonce. Father of two beautiful children, and his loving wife Mary Quonce. Steve has been battling type 1 diabetes since age 12. This battle was extremely hard when we were younger in our marriage and Steve didn’t have health insurance. For years Steve has had many complications, some that have taken his love for volunteer firefighting, and recently his ability to work. Trying to figure out all of his recent complications Roswell Center in Buffalo Found Steve to have MGUS and a rare blood disorder called Amyloidosis, which the combination of needs to be treated at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota. Due to Steve’s unable to work due to these complications money is very tight. We recently claimed bankruptcy with well over 125k in medical debt. Steve’s treatment plan has him going back to Rochester MN, for the next ten weeks at a minimum. The costs associated for travel are not covered by insurance, and include airfare, hotel, and food accommodations while he is there. We are looking for any and all help we can get to make sure that he can get there and back and hopefully spend the rest of his life with us, if left untreated, the outlook is very grim. I (Mary) his wife am a school teacher through Boces at Hannibal Elementary, and we live off my income alone. We just simply do not have the money for him to fly back and forth, and he is too sick to drive, and would also cost a considerable amount of money as well.
