Steven James Conrad's Memorial & Funeral Services
Donation protected
Steve Conrad grew up in a family of 5, he was the youngest and only son. He attended school in Doraville, Ga. where he met and made many friends whose friendships he has maintained throughout the years. One of which he renewed and fell in love with, Kathy Lea. My 'Daddio', was the best father a daughter could dream of, he meant the world to me. He was a wonderful Grandfather to his 3 grandsons; teaching them how to fish and enjoy and appreciate nature. He was a great role model to us all. The boys favorite things about their Grandpa Steve is hearing his stories, how much he made us laugh and how he taught always taught safety first and made sure everyone had the correct gear. Dad had amazing artistic abilities . He was a true 'spinner of yarns', he could keep people entertained for hours.
He fought hard against Covid for over a month and unfortunately he passed away quietly on February 19, 2021 as I held his hand. Any funds received will be used for funeral expenses. Our plans are that he will be cremated and his urn interned at Sawnee View Cemetary in Cumming, GA along with his late son, Tanner Conrad.
We will have a Memorial Service at Ingram's Saturday, February 27th visitation from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM with service following in the Chapel at 3:00 PM.
