My name is Tammy.

I'm raising money for my husband Brian "Smitty" Smith Sr. We need help covering out of state medical trips. Brian suffers from Crohns disease and is going on his 9th surgery. He was hospitalized back in October and had to have mesh removed due to the mesh strangling the intestine. He'd been sick over a year prior and was told of the mesh problem. The next 40 days was spent hoping he would live.

He went through the first surgery fine for a few days then had emergency surgery the 3rd day due to malnutrition so his body was too weak and couldnt hold sutures. So he would have died if not treated.

He woke up from a coma to learn he had to live with an illestomy .

He has gone from 125lbs to 183 today and alot healthier. Cleaveland clinic is willing to reverse his stoma and rebuild his stomach. We are in Michigan and the trips ahead are going to be costly and will put him back to "normality" .

Please help our family get through this worrisom time and be able to be with Brian in the moment.
