Medical Travel Costs for Lori Lee
Donation protected
As you are aware Randy was placed on life support in February with an extremely rare and life threatening illness. We are fighting diligently to get Randy the care he needs and out of Abbott. While Randy fights to get better, his wife Lori has been juggling work and caring for Randy every single day. She hasn't been at her job a full year yet so she doesn't qualify for FMLA leave.
We'd like to help support Lori with her travel costs. This includes gas to drive from Monticello to Minneapolis daily (sometimes multiple times a day), money for food while she is at the hospital, and parking fees. These costs are adding up and with no end in sight.
In addition, we are hoping to get Randy transferred to the Mayo, and if we do that Lori will be 2 hours away from Randy and will likely also need help with lodging on top of the other costs. Your generous donations will directly support Lori's travel needs.
But beyond financial assistance, your support offers something even more precious: hope. It tells Lori and Randy that they are not alone in this fight, that they have a vast network of caring individuals rallying behind them, lifting randy up with love and encouragement every step of the way. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to easing Lori's travel burden and providing her with the resources she needs to continue to balancing advocating for Randy.
