Travel and lodging while Paityn is hospitalized

Hi, I'm Alice Ayoob, and I'm fundraising for expenses related to my great-niece Paityn's hospitalization in Boston. The good news is that she has excellent health insurance, and her medical care isn't an issue. This fundraising is for travel, lodging, food, lost wages, and other expenses for family members who are traveling to Boston to be near her.

Paityn is a sweet and lively 7-month-old who suddenly developed an illness, fever, and strained breathing on May 15th. Beverly acted quickly and called the ambulance, but Paityn stopped breathing once at home, and again in the emergency room. She was intubated and flown to Boston Children's Hospital the same day. Today (Wed, May 17), she is still intubated and sedated, while she is assessed and a care plan is developed. Her heart is still enlarged and a ventricle isn't functioning properly. She is very sick but stable, is in the best place she could be, and the pediatric nurses and medical staff are tuned into her every need.

Beverly, her grandmother has not left her side, and has stayed in Paityn's unit. Joe, Colleen, and grandfather Robert are also traveling back and forth.
