Hello, My name is Rebecca Britton and with the permission of Richards family have started this Go Fund Me.

Richard Sherman joined his Almighty God this morning March 21. His unbounded Faith in the Lord enabled him to battle his cancer with such Dignity, Bravery and Spirit. We are setting up this Go Fund Me to help his Best Friend and Love of his Life Eseta with Funeral and Travel expenses for relatives from afar and to bring Richard home from Texas. Richards journey through this has been one of absolute trust and assurance that the Lord will carry him though and eventually to his home in Heaven. Any amount is helpful to this Beautiful Family that gives so much to Bristol Bay and beyond through their support of businesses, people and countless prayers for anyone who needs them.

Richard dedicated himself to the community in so many ways through his work, church and in the hours of volunteering with the Bristol Bay Volunteer Fire Department since joining in 2012. Even through his illness, he was determined to continue to volunteer with the department in any capacity he could.
