As many of you know Scott was diagnosed on February 15th with Stage 4 Renal Clear Cell Carcinoma (kidney cancer) at the youthful age of 49.  We began Immunotherapy  treatments with the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix Az.  that has shown alot of  promise. We are beginning preparations to travel 1200 miles from our home back to Mayo for his follow up appointments and surgeries that have been scheduled to have partial bi-lateral nephrectomies on his kidneys, with possible surgery in his left parotid gland to remove tumors. There is hope that with the past immunotherapy treatments and these surgeries; Scott will have a very real chance of survival, and will be given more time to live out a fairly normal life enjoying his family and friends.This next trip will be a minimum of 3 weeks  for tests and procedures.  Up until this point we have managed our financial obligations without asking for any  help.
