Travel Aid for Susan's Cancer Treatment

Hello Friends,

This is Stephanie and I am starting a Gofundme effort for my mom. As some of you may know, my mom, Susan Shannon-Haar, began battling serious health issues in 2021. In December, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, and we are all rallying around her as she embarks on this fight. We are very fortunate that insurance will cover the surgery, but after surgery, mom and dad will have to travel 2 hours round trip 5 days a week for 5 to 7 weeks. All of those trips, plus added doctors appointments will add up to at least 1,500 dollars of added gas and travel expenses.

This added expense is incredibly overwhelming for my parents. My goal is to alleviate this stress from my mom’s mind so she can solely focus on healing. Therefore, I am reaching out to all of you in hopes you can help me achieve this goal. Anything you can spare to help would be so appreciated.
