Hello friends!

While adventuring in Baja California enjoying an atv ride,

your friendly neighborhood Danny Guzman fell off the vehicle. This event resulted in a torsion fracture of my tibia and fibula. I had major surgery in

Mexico which is not covered by insurance. In order to pay for this, I have had to wipe out my savings as well as max out my credit cards. Although this surgery would have been well over a hundred thousand dollars in the United States, the twelve thousand dollars that it cost me is well outside of my ability to pay without needing to win a million dollars in the lottery. I am expecting a three month recuperation period and will be unable to leave Mexico for at least the next two weeks. Once I am able to travel, I will be returning to Santa Cruz for my recovery. All of you who know me know how difficult it is for me to ask for help; however, I feel like I must ask for help, because the amount of money that this surgery costs me represents years of my life saving and building up my credit. This single event places me back into a less than solvent situation and has placed me into a stress response that I am unfamiliar with. I am not looking to capitalize on this. I am simply asking my friends to help me cover the cost of this unexpected event. Thank you all I love you dearly. Any and all funds provided will go towards paying off my credit cards and returning my savings account to a slightly healthier balance.
