UPDATE: I made it to CognitiveFX and cannot believe the difference after two days being here. I haven't had to use any anxiety medication since yesterday morning when I started, and last night was the first time in 2.5years that I was able to dream...and I remembered it. Today I was able to remember things from yesterday, and that is something new as well. I know I would get so much more out of this if I could complete the entire treatment which means an extra week here. Now that I'm here, I am even more hopeful that this treatment will get me back to a place where I can work, be around people, and enjoy life again.

Hello, My name is Courtney and I am 36 years old. I was in an accident two and a half years ago where I received a few broken bones, a fractured neck and a TBI from a head injury and several strokes. The TBI is the most I am needing help with.

I am wanting treatment in Utah called CognitiveFX as they provide more services than what I am able to receive in Canada. Due to its location my insurance provider, who has been treating me well in this recovery, is unable to assist me with the costs for this.

I was recommended to attend the 2 week treatment plan at CognitiveFX because of the severeness of the TBI for $27,700 usd which is $38, 200cad. I was able to come up with half of the amount which is only one week of therapy.

I am hoping for donations on this as it will help with the cognitive support I need to be able to get back into being part of my community again.
