Our Sister Elisha was hit head on while driving her family home from the beach. She was life-flighted from the scene and sustained massive crush injuries. Her life will never be the same. She has multiple severe breaks throughout both legs, 4 broken ribs , 2 pelvic fractures, as well as hip and spinal fractures, too narrow it down. Her foot was completely crushed, and she may lose her right leg. Her children were both free of physical injury, but very traumatized. Elisha is the most generous, kind, and nurturing person. Her motherhood is her superpower; she can be anyone’s mom she just has that much love and wants to give it. She is currently in the ICU in a medically induced coma and on ventilator. There are so many unforeseen medical cost that she will face because of the extensive and on-going surgeries and rehabilitation she has had, and is going to need. We would also like to make adjustments to her home to make her recovery more successful, and life for her and her family more manageable. She has a long, painful, excruciatingly difficult road ahead of her. We are trying to do whatever we can to soften the financial blow.
