We are raising funds through our Healing Club community to support a trauma-healing project under the Department of Psychology at Debre Berhan University for internally displaced people in North Shoa, Ethiopia.
This project introduces a gentle, low-cost trauma support tool that helps reduce trauma symptoms without requiring people to relive or verbally share painful experiences. making it especially safe and culturally appropriate in displacement and humanitarian settings.
Funds will support ethical implementation, materials, and meals for participants during the sessions. At its heart, this project centers dignity, emotional safety, and access to healing for communities impacted by conflict and displacement.
