Ciao! Mi chiamo Roberto e ho una grande passione per la scienza, la tecnologia e l’innovazione.

Fin da piccolo ho sempre voluto capire come funziona il mondo: smontavo oggetti, facevo esperimenti e sognavo di poter un giorno contribuire anch’io al progresso scientifico.

Negli ultimi anni ho partecipato e vinto diversi concorsi STEM, come il Camp Moon ESA e il Coding Dojo, che mi hanno permesso di crescere e di credere ancora di più nel potere della conoscenza e della collaborazione.

Durante la pandemia di Covid-19 ho deciso di dare una mano come potevo: ho usato la mia stampante 3D per creare componenti di respiratori e visiere protettive, che ho donato a ospedali e associazioni locali. È stato il mio modo per mettere la scienza al servizio degli altri.

Oggi ho ricevuto un’opportunità che per me significa tutto: sono stato selezionato per partecipare al London International Youth Science Forum (LIYSF), un prestigioso programma internazionale che riunisce giovani scienziati da oltre 70 Paesi.

Per me sarebbe un’esperienza unica, che mi permetterebbe di imparare dai migliori, condividere idee con altri ragazzi appassionati come me e crescere come futuro ricercatore e innovatore.

Purtroppo, le spese di viaggio e partecipazione sono molto alte, e vorrei poter aderire a questo progetto autonomamente.

È per questo che ho deciso di aprire questa raccolta fondi: per chiedere una mano a chi crede nel valore della scienza, dei sogni e dell’impegno dei giovani.

Ogni contributo, anche piccolo, farà la differenza.

Mi aiuterà a partecipare al LIYSF e a portare con me la mia passione, le mie idee e la mia voglia di costruire un futuro migliore.

Hi! My name is Roberto, and I have a great passion for science, technology, and innovation.

Ever since I was little, I’ve always wanted to understand how the world works: I would take things apart, run experiments, and dream of one day contributing to scientific progress myself.

In recent years, I’ve participated in and won several STEM competitions, such as Camp Moon ESA and Coding Dojo, which have helped me grow and believe even more in the power of knowledge and collaboration.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, I decided to help in any way I could: I used my 3D printer to create parts for ventilators and protective visors, which I donated to hospitals and local organizations. It was my way of putting science at the service of others.

Today, I have been given an opportunity that means everything to me: I have been selected to participate in the London International Youth Science Forum (LIYSF), a prestigious international program that brings together young scientists from over 70 countries.

For me, it would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, allowing me to learn from the best, share ideas with other passionate young people like me, and grow as a future researcher and innovator.

Unfortunately, the travel and participation costs are very high, and I would like to be able to join this project independently.

This is why I decided to start this fundraiser: to ask for help from those who believe in the value of science, dreams, and the commitment of young people.

Every contribution, even a small one, makes a difference.

It will help me attend LIYSF and bring with me my passion, my ideas, and my desire to help build a better future.
