Stefany Chavez sister of all-star shortstop Michael Herrera, is 28 years old, married and has one child. She has had thyroid cancer for the past 2 years. She will be having her 2nd surgery this summer. The doctors say the tumor is larger then the first tumor. Michael Herrera was a beloved player for the Pierre Trappers but had to leave mid-season to go back home to help the family. We as the Trapper family want to come alongside the Herrera family and help offset some of the medical expenses.
