Hey everyone, Shanice and I need to share something important with you all. We’ve now been stuck in the Middle East for extended days with virtually no resources, support, or clear timeframe for when we’ll be able to leave. We came here believing it would be a short trip, but everything changed when the war between the United States, Israel, and Iran suddenly escalated. The region has become extremely volatile, with the U.S. government urging Americans to leave multiple countries due to serious safety risks and major disruptions to travel options including closed airspace and canceled flights which has left us stranded with no way home right now. 

We also want to say we are incredibly humble about this. Starting a GoFundMe was not something we initially wanted to do. We don’t necessarily need it, and asking for help doesn’t come naturally to us. But after so many of you repeatedly asked how you could support, we decided to go ahead and open it up for anyone who truly wants to help. Whether that’s through a donation, a prayer, or simply sharing this message we appreciate it more than you know. We’re staying hopeful, trusting God, and believing we’ll be home soon.
