Our friend Jae, a 16 year old high school student was recently relocated to the Philippines against her will by her parents under false pretenses.

Lied to about returning and has no way home. She's now being told she's staying and will be attending school there.

She doesn't speak the language remotely, has no phone and very limited wifi. Her parents are also purposely denying giving her prescribed medication she needs to be healthy. Her parents have made attempts to forcefully relocate her in the past. Again, under false pretenses. Her friends and I are seeking money to help her purchase her way home as well to spread awareness to the Canadian government so that they will be forced to bring her back to Toronto where she wants to be.
