Transportation woes

Sadly, my vehicle to go to events, conventions, run errands, or take my family to the doctor, vet, or drive-in in has had a major engine failure.
Coming home from helping at FaerieWorlds at 1 am, it gave out, leaving me about 2 hours from home. Thanks to friends, I am warm, getting myself home, and was safe during the dark hours.
Replacing the engine runs between $3000 for a used one to $8000 for a new one. Which is what I paid (ok, still paying off) for this one in 2015 after I was rear-ended.
Without a vehicle, especially one that can pull the SCA trailer, I will be less able to fulfill commitments made as an officer, a volunteer, or to keep promises to others as well as family, especially the Petite Tzarina.
I will be looking to see what of my sewing and crafting stash can be sold, or what things I may do to help raise the money I need to either fix or replace the vehicle - sewing or other.
But I have to admit that I need help.
So if you can chip in a little, every little bit helps.
