I'm Cheryl and this is my Aunt, Linda. She will be 72 years old this year and has kidney failure, from having uncontrolled Diabetes, Type 2, for many years. Her kidneys were at 7%, when last tested in the GFR (Glomerular Filtration Rate) test, it shows how well the kidneys are functioning. A GFR of 15% or below may mean kidney failure.

She went downhill quickly and is continuing to slide further and further away. She also has dementia, she did not even recognize my brother when he and my mom went to see her. I have not seen Linda in a while and am looking forward to seeing her when I go out to California.

My Mom thinks she may have had another stroke, she is not talking or responding much anymore to anything. She has not called me in more than 2 weeks and I deeply am missing her. Linda was always someone that my husband, Gilbert and I could always talk to about anything and she would try her best to help us out.

The problem is that she is unable to sit up or even walk anymore, due to having

multiple strokes, which means she needs transportation that specializes in transporting a gurney to and from the Dialysis. To do this, they are charging her $1,800. a month, in Los Angeles, California.

Linda has no more funds available anymore, for the transportation costs and this is why i am asking you all for help, please. If she does not get to her Dialysis treatments, she could and will pass away within 3 weeks.
