Dear friends. It is with great reluctance I post this and thank you for viewing. Yes, I am reaching out for financial assistance.
Recently I was Diagnosed with Birketts Lymphoma, stage 4, in early August of 2016. I had been under going in patient hospital based chemotherapy at Torrance Memorial. My first stay was 36 days, 3 more treatmentsh each with 2 week hospital stays. A couple of stays for side effects too. final chemotherapy was fortunately only 7 days, two weeks prior to Christmas . Total stay was 107 days.
Was fortunate to seemingly been clear of cancer. I returned to work in February. In early June 2017, I fell off a ladder while trimming a tree, yes, stupid. I seemingly hurt my shoulder, but a MRI showed something else. A biopsy and scans confirmed that my Burkitts had returned.
My current treatment is additional chemotherapy , a different type, that I just started, 4 rounds, 3 weeks apart, for 5 days each, barring any complications.
While I have insurance, I still have $10,000.00 In copay & deductible expenses. Due to medication, treatments & side effects, Iam not able to work or drive. I have been taking Uber to /from Dr's appointments (UCLA & Torrance Memorial ) & hospital stays.
Once completed with chemotherapy at Torrance Memorial, I will be off to 5 weeks at Ronald Reagan UCLA for a stem cell transplant.
While the ending prognosis is good, it is still going to be a long 8 months, and not particularly fun.
I am reaching out, as most know I am kinda private about my personal life, but any all assistance is tremendously appreciated, as are prayers!
