As many of you know, Scott was diagnosed with cancer and had a lesion on his tongue removed last April. While the initial removal surgery was successful, his journey took an unexpected turn recently. Last month, a lymph node in his neck was discovered to have been affected, prompting another surgery to remove it.

Now, Scott is gearing up for intensive radiation and chemotherapy treatments at Karmanos Cancer Institute in downtown Detroit. This means he’ll need to make the trip for five radiation sessions every week. The toll of these treatments, coupled with the exhausting effects of chemotherapy, leaves little energy for anything else, let alone meal preparation, In addition, the constant travel imposes quite a financial burden. We are committed to supporting Scott and Pauline in every possible way, and are determined to lift this burden, allowing them to focus solely on Scott’s recovery.
