A group of 28 children age 8- 13 from Minehead, watchet, williton and dulverton. have been given the opportunity to perform at the somerset drama festival in illminster end of March.
I am Sabrina and I run a newly formed drama club called M.A.D.S, Minehead Amateur Drama School. At M.A.D.S we are helping some of our local children to become more confident in all aspects of acting and performance arts.
Some of the children at our drama school have never stepped foot on a stage due to lack of confidence, so it is really nice to see them come out of their comfort zone and really embrace every moment. Seeing how far some of these children have come is so rewarding.
We’re asking for donations towards getting the children and their parents to illminster for their first drama competition. So we are asking if any businesses would be able to make a monetary donation towards the cost of the coach hire.
Our children have worked so hard to learn their lines and songs so I really want to be able to fulfill this great opportunity they have been given.
If any businesses are happy to donate in exchange for your generosity we will advertise your business free of charge in our Annual performace programmes.
