Transport Hope to Ugandan Schoolchildren

My name is Brandi and my family and I are sponsoring several children in Uganda to go to school. These children live in a village near Jinja, Uganda named Namiyagi. We sponsored the room and board for them in boarding school. We have someone there to bring the children food and supplies when they need, as well as providing them rides from their home to school.

Right now, every time he needs a vehicle to help the kids, he has to hire a taxi, which adds up and becomes very costly. We are proposing the idea of getting a used vehicle for him. With our own vehicle, it will be less expensive in the long term collectively.

Transportation to and from school each term (3 each school year), visiting day for the family (also 3 times a year), getting the school supplies and other requirements, the mattresses, school trunks, and other big items they need. He would be the sole driver. This would also benefit us when we travel back to Uganda as he could take us to visit our children in boarding schools.
