In Loving Memory of Wayne Davis

September 14, 1965 - May 17, 2025

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of my stepdad, Wayne Davis — a man of immense character, a loving husband, father, and grandfather; a devoted brother, and son.

Wayne was a man who was always ready to help; who faced every challenge he came upon with resolve and grit, and always somehow managed to find a solution. I never once, in all the years I knew him, saw him quit. He went into all things with full faith and conviction; every relationship he had was completely honest — for better or worse; he was always, entirely, only himself. A man who loved to laugh; a man who loved to have fun; a man who will be sorely missed.

The void left in the wake of his departure from this life — words can’t express. He was my first guitar teacher, and my mother’s best friend, and so much to so many people. He was a light that burned hot and bright, and went out much too soon.

On behalf of my family, I am humbly requesting any kind of donation to help with the expenses of getting him to California to be laid to rest with his son, my brother.
