There are times in life that are too tragic for words and too hard to bear.
On Thursday August 13, 2020 Artajah Monee Smith tragically lost her life along with her pregnant girlfriend and her 8 year old son in a fiery multi-vehicle crash. Artajah was a solid individual who lived life to the fullest. She was courageous with a big heart and a smile that was contagious. If you were around her, you knew you were going to be crying of laughter.
Her loved ones watched in absolute horror as the video began to spread quickly throughout social media and local news. What we saw on that tape has left us all in shell shock; Two adults, one child, and a puppy are dead following a fiery multi-vehicle crash late Thursday morning. As you can imagine, the car crash that took their lives shook the foundation of our family. While we’re taking it one day at a time, grappling with the reality that she’s gone, we’re faced with making very difficult decisions.
This fund has been established to cover transport, funeral and expenses to honor Artajah Monee Smith in the proper way. A portion of these funds will also go to her mother - Denisha Lewis. Any contributions, no matter the amount, are greatly appreciated.
