KIDNEY TRANSPLANT UPDATE...I NEED $10,000
Hello Everyone:
Alice here with an update!
On May 24, 2018, I was approved for a kidney transplant by UC Davis & UNOS (United Network for Organ Sharing)! This is huge, folks! I’m at the top of the list so now it’s a waiting game. This is exciting and completely scary at the same time. What a journey this has been! I can’t tell you how happy I will be when I don’t have to visit my “boyfriend” at the dialysis clinic three times a week. I can actually see that light at the end of the tunnel.
After my meeting with the UC Davis financial people, I ran the numbers and I will need $10,000 for aftercare and other medical expenses. Insurance and Medicare will pay for the hospitalization and the actual transplant procedure (pricey, very pricey!), but, as you can well imagine, there are additional costs that I will be responsible for. I hope you can help me reach my goal because I can get the call at any time. A lot of ‘little bits’ add up to a whole lot so don’t think that a small amount won’t count…believe me…it does!
It’s very, very hard to ask for money. Disability pays next to nothing (when you make nothing) and vacation and sick time won’t cover the 12-16 weeks I have to be off work for recovery after the transplant.
I’m asking that you share this post with your friend base, and ask them to share with theirs. Please tell everyone that I am legit and this is a real situation for a real person! ME!
If you launch the link below it will take you to the Davis transplant website. It has great information on their incredible program and also post- transplant information you may find helpful in why I am asking for funds.

If you have any questions you can message me on Facebook, e-mail me or give me call. Thank you, thank you all so very much for your help and support.
