Hello, my name is Jared, a lot of people know me as JT. However this is not about me. This is about a good friend of mine, he is a Husband, a Father, a Son, a Grandfather, a Friend and so much more, He is David Walters. I am creating this on his behalf for him and his wife Kelly and there family, while they endure this difficult time, that will challenge them emotionally, physically, financially and after all they do for other people, it’s the least I can do for them. I will also be setting up a meal sign up program for when then are ready, it’s a long hard road but it’s one that can be overcome. Please consider donating or at the very least share this. Dave Walters, one of the first Trash Panda season ticket holders and extreme Trash Panda fan, has been very ill for several months. In the last few weeks it was determined that he was in heart failure which caused many of his other organs to show signs of stress and start shutting down. Dave was flown to Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, TN were he was stabilized and he and his family learned that he needed a heart transplant. On Friday June 16th, Dave and his wife Kelly were told that, not only was he added to the heart transplant list but they had a heart and his surgery would begin in 4 hours. Although filled with all kinds of emotions, Dave and Kelly's first reaction was to bless the family that was mourning the loss of a loved one.

Since the surgery, the surgeons and doctors are very pleased with Dave's progress and Dave is feeling good for all he has gone through.

The next few weeks are critical for Dave's recovery and Kelly is driving to Nashville almost everyday to be with him. Upon Dave's discharge from Vanderbilt in a few weeks, Dave and Kelly must reside in temporary housing.
