I have been approved to receive a multivisceral transplant, which will include liver, pancreas, stomach, duodenum and small bowel plus removal of my spleen. This will take place at UPMC in Pittsburgh, the call could come any day at any time!

I will need to be in the hospital for several weeks then in a rehabilitation center for at least a month, so we're looking at at least 4 months of relocation to Pittsburgh. My wife, Gretta, will need housing while I'm in the hospital and rehabilitation center, since we live over 4 hours away. 

The expected cost per night is around $130 and the estimated total for 4 months is $15,000. This is on top of the cost of our home and day to day expenses we currently have and will still be responsible for while I'm recovering, which our daughter will be upkeeping in our absence.
