Help Me Access Necessary Gender Affirming Surgery

Hi I'm G (they/them).

I am a trans masculine medical student and I have started this fund to help me cover the costs of getting private top surgery.

I have spent the past 6 years of my life working in healthcare as well as teaching on health inequities. I am an aspiring GUM (genitourinary medicine) and public health doctor and would love to continue work in the future teaching on accessible and LGBTQ+ inclusive healthcare.

I am in my final year of medical school and for all of my time so far on my degree I have worked part time alongside studying. However, due to the long NHS waiting lists for trans healthcare I have begun the process of seeking the care I need privately.

I know that not having access to this medical care going forwards is going to have an impact on my both my physical and emotional wellbeing.

It is for these reason that I am asking for help towards accessing surgery.

Any help towards my goal at all will be so so appreciated, just sharing this around would be incredible.
