Transitioning soldier had truck stolen
Donation protected
Hello my name is Alexander, I came down to Houston for Memorial day to spend time with my girlfriend and to look around the area for a place to live once I get out of The Army in August. On Friday night (26 May) someone hacked and stole my Toyota Tacoma in Montrose and drove off with it.
Now I'm in real trouble because I still haven't secured a job, I still haven't gotten a home and the list goes on. I hope to lower my goal but right now the goal is set at the price of the truck with the gofundme fees added. I'm in a very bad place with such a short time till im out of the army (which is Aug 28, and that will be here in a blink of an eye). It's bad enough all my transitioning paperwork and medical records were in the back seat! I struggled so hard to earn that truck.
I had everything planned out and now I don't know how I'm going to get back on my feet financially to achieve success with such short time. This set back is going to hinder me so much it makes my stomach turn someone would do this so close to my ETS date.
I still have to pay the bank for the truck. I put too much faith in nothing this serious would go wrong.
I appreciate any help I can get to get back on the road and back on track.
Thank you for your time and your help.
If all you do is a dollar donation and a share truly that's worth a lot to me.
If you have any information please contact Houston Police Department.
