Hi, after a lot of contemplation if this is the right thing to do, I decided to start a transition fund.

I have been saving money for two years now and can finally begin laser hair removal and hormone therapy in the coming month. This is a pivotal moment in my transition, and I am happy that I have been able to get here by myself and with the help of close family and friends.

Unfortunately, I know that my savings will not be enough to get/finish the procedures I want and need. Although I have been saving for a while, I have also always been on a low income in the past years, making it challenging to put something aside when I could often barely afford rent.
