Hi. I'm Ekaterina. I am a veteran of the military, transgender woman, and a diabetic. I moved from Texas to Washington at the end of August. 2 weeks before the move, my car was totaled on the day I picked up the license plates (See my other go fund me). I made it here to a safe place in rural Washington. I have been living off of the remaining savings I had left. I've been living off of a minimalist diet to stretch money further. My cat Emmit helps comfort but not financially.

Activists and elected representatives suggest relocation stipends or funds be made available but for those of us who moved, there is not anything coming anytime soon.

I'm working with the VA's vocational specialist to get either a part time job outside of the home or one from home, though Washington seems to have obstacles for that.

I have minor surgery scheduled on Thursday January 12th at the VA which will incapacitate me from strenuous activities. As of today I have $250 dollars total left in savings total. Broke as in broke not broke but still doing things like buying tons of groceries and stuff like others when they use the word broke and they're not really broke.

This go fund me is to get past this delay, false start, relocation, medical leave.
