Transgender Community Celebration of Life

Hello Everyone, my name is Earline Budd and I am known as the Advocate. Recently, DC has had a spike in deaths amongst the Transgender community. within the last forty- five days we have had six deaths of transgender women. All but one had been classified as a suspected OVERDOSE. Today I am bringing attention to this loss of lives within our community and how it hurts to know that these individuals are no longer with us. I am asking for your assistance today to support this City Wide Celebration of Life scheduled for Saturday March 18th, 2023 at MCCDC located at 474 Ridge Street NW at 11:00 am. (this event is open to the community). Today I ask that you please lift up each of the families and our community during this difficult time.
