The Educational Philanthropic Foundation is looking to offer a STEM program to middle school through high school that surpasses the existing program that is run by the counties. The STEM Program focuses on education in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, typically involving interdisciplinary, applied learning and hands-on problem-solving. STEM programs aim to equip students with skills needed for future careers in STEM fields and foster critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. STEM education emphasizes hands-on, problem-based learning and often involves collaborating with local industries and community resources aiming to develop 21st-century skills and prepare them for potential STEM careers. These programs do not show or challenge the students enough past the basics as they don’t give real world problem solving.
