In Juba, South Sudan, every rainy weekend, more than 25,000 kilograms of plastic waste floods our streets, blocks drainage, and flows into the River Nile. At the same time, thousands of families live without safe, affordable housing.
At Plan B Recycle, we are a youth-led social enterprise determined to solve both crises with one solution:
- Collecting plastic waste from households, schools, and markets
- Transforming it into durable Eco-Bricks
- Building affordable homes, classrooms, and community spaces — at prices up to 40% lower than cement alternatives
