In my own life, I've witnessed the challenges faced by countless children who lack access to sports and educational resources. These circumstances perpetuate a cycle of poverty, leaving these innocent souls vulnerable to negative influences and depriving them of a chance to lead better and more positive lives. But I believe in the immense potential of every child, regardless of their background. And that's why I've embarked on a mission to make a lasting difference.

As a child, I never had the opportunity to participate in organized sports due to the lack of resources within my family. However, in high school, I joined the volleyball team, and it had a profound impact on my life. Playing volleyball not only provided me with a new physical outlet but also taught me valuable lessons in discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. It transformed my life, shaping my character and instilling important values that continue to guide me today.

Sadly, the lack of resources continues to hinder the dreams of many children. In places like Venezuela, where families struggle to afford even the basic necessities, sports become a luxury that is out of reach. The costs of sports equipment, training fees, and transportation quickly add up, making it financially impossible for these children to pursue their passion. This unfortunate reality deprives them of physical activity, personal development, and the numerous benefits that sports bring.

That's why I founded the Del Carmen Foundation—an organization dedicated to providing scholarships for underprivileged children to participate in sports. With your support, we can create a platform where these children can access the resources they need to thrive. Through our comprehensive scholarships, we will cover the full costs of training programs, equipment, uniforms, and necessary fees. We aim to remove the financial barriers that hinder their participation, empowering them to embrace a brighter future.
