My name is Ava, and I’m a Life Scout working toward the rank of Eagle Scout — the highest achievement in Scouting. For my Eagle Scout Service Project, I am creating a butterfly garden on the grounds of my church, transforming a neglected, weedy area into a beautiful, vibrant space that will support pollinators, inspire visitors, and reflect the church’s commitment to stewardship of the environment.

This project is about more than just planting flowers. It’s about creating a lasting gift for my community — a space that fosters beauty, peace, and ecological health. The garden will provide habitat for butterflies, bees, and other pollinators, while offering church members and visitors a peaceful place to enjoy nature.
