My name is Iqbal Nasim and a central part of my mission is to help people achieve a meaningful connection with God through prayer (salat).

The biggest crisis in the world is the problem of godlessness: people being mindless, heedless and careless regarding their Lord…

…and one of the most obvious signs of this disconnection from God is the poor state of our salat.

Few problems are more serious than someone:

This isn’t just a material problem whose consequences remain in this world. It’s a spiritual problem – a spiritual poverty - whose effects continue long into eternity.

The prayer crisis is widespread. It’s a pandemic.

Millions of believers are suffering, let alone all those who are yet to commit to God in the first place. All of them are missing out on experiencing a deep, meaningful, focused connection with their Lord.

HOW HAS IT COME TO THIS?

Put simply, it’s because of inadequate education.

I’ve long believed that authentic, relatable and structured ways of helping people understand and improve their prayers aren’t readily available.

Too many of our educational narratives are caught up in jargon or irrelevant reference points that might have been useful in different times or places but don’t really have much benefit for most English-speaking believers today.

They focus disproportionately on the outward aspects and technicalities, at the expense of substance and meaning.

WHAT'S THE SOLUTION?

I developed and started teaching Transform My Prayer because I felt strongly that the prayer crisis just wasn’t getting enough attention.

I felt that a back-to-basics approach was needed, one that communicated in plain English the power and purpose of prayer, as well as a practical approach to achieve presence of heart and mind.

Transform My Prayer is a unique service and a powerful experience to help people find consistency, focus and tranquility in their prayers.

It’s quite possibly the most direct, concentrated and fastest growing initiative in the world to tackle the prayer crisis head on.

It’s relatable and accessible, providing a comprehensive and tailored package of support in an online community environment.

The number of beneficiaries has risen ten-fold from 3,000 to over 30,000 in less than three months!

This change brought about a huge benefit, but it also created a problem that I need your help to solve...

Before the change, the costs incurred to deliver all aspects of Transform My Prayer were covered by income from course fees.

Now there is almost no such income, and I don’t want to jeopardise the growth in the number of people benefiting from the programme by having a course fee.

Your support is required so that Transform My Prayer can continue to be a best-in-class service for its existing audience, and so that it can continue to reach tens of thousands of new participants in the coming year.

I’ve run the numbers and anticipate that at least £100,000 will be required over the next year to deliver and scale Transform My Prayer to 100,000 participants.

This covers everything related to content development, production, marketing and administration, allowing me to bring on additional team members where required to help manage the increased workload of serving a significantly greater number of people.
