Goal: $114,263 | Project: Mwiki Primary School, Kiambu County
Would you let your child use a toilet shared by 230 others?
At Mwiki Primary School, 5,000 pupils and 85 teachers share dilapidated, unsafe toilets. Girls go without sanitary towels. Children skip school because hygiene is a luxury they don’t have.
This isn’t a statistic. It’s a daily crisis.
Maji na Ufanisi, with local and global partners, is ready to:
- Build 50 modern toilets and 10 handwashing stations
- Distribute biodegradable reusable pads to over 1,800 girls
- Train boys in hygiene and dignity
- Connect the school to a municipal water and sewer system
- Reach 10,000 community members with sanitation education
This is the largest WASH school intervention we’ve launched—and we’re halfway there. With your help, we’ll finish.
Your donation fights disease. It empowers girls. It restores humanity in learning.
We have 4 months. Let’s make every day count. Give now.
