Empowering 100+ struggling students through higher education

This year, through our Village Bells Scholarship Program, we have spent several months identifying students who are going through extreme hardships. We found children who have lost both parents, those whose parents are visually impaired, and children with physical disabilities – all of them facing very difficult circumstances.

This year, we received over 3,000 applications. From those, we carefully selected the most deserving and academically strong students. We have committed to supporting them with all their expenses, including college fees, hostel fees, mess charges, and exam fees.

Through our Village Bells Foundation, we are reaching remote rain-affected villages that no one else can access, encouraging and providing education to students—especially those facing hardships.

One of our students, Srivasta, who studied under our foundation’s support, is now working in the IT sector.

This year, the story behind each selected student is truly heartbreaking. Despite their academic excellence, education remained a question mark in their lives. Our only goal is to help them complete their studies and secure good jobs. But that’s not all—there are still villages where bonded labor exists. We strongly believe that education is the most powerful weapon to bring about change.

FEW MENTIONS OF THE RESULT OF LAST YEAR'S SCHOLARSHIPS

1) Bala Santhosh Raj, pursuing IT at CEG, scored 9.6 GPA in his last semester.

2) Thamarai Selvi, pursuing B.Com, scored 94% in her last semester and secured the first position in her class and college.

3) Namitha, studying Botany, scored 85% in her final exam and secured first place in her class.

4) Guru Sidharth, pursuing ECE, scored 97.5% in his last semester.

5) For the first time, a student named Saraswathy from the Paliyar tribal community is working at Freshworks IT Company.
