As many of you know, our son Lau has autism, and his journey has been filled with both remarkable strengths and significant challenges. We believe a service dog could profoundly impact his life by providing emotional comfort, improving safety, and assisting with daily routines.
The total cost to train and acquire a specially-trained service dog is $18,000. This covers everything from the dog’s training to ongoing support for Lau and his new companion.
